The amazing Eumundi market operates every Wednesday and Saturday morning. Over 200 stores offer things like handicrafts and local produce to many taste delights. Only the best looking and best quality goods are sold at the Eumundi markets so you can be assured you are purchasing something worthwhile.

Underwater world

Experience the largest oceanarium in the southern hemisphere. It is located on The Wharf, Mooloolaba and contains over 20 000 sea creatures. Take an 80m tunnel walk to experience underwater world.

Good day’ Mate! The famous Ettamogah Pub, with attached small theme park and free entry is a good stopping point on the Bruce Highway and has the advantage of selling some of the cheapest petrol in the area. It’s worth it to take a day off on your sunshine coast holiday to visit Aussie world.

Big pineapple

Take a train ride through this working pineapple farm at which a number of additional tours have been added over the years since it opened in 1971. These include a ride on the Macadamia nut mobile where enthusiastic guides explain how Macadamia nuts are processed, the rainforest walk or visit the wildlife gardens. And you don’t have to look too hard for it as the 16m high fibre glass pineapple marking the entrance is pretty easy to spot.

The ginger factory

The world’s largest high tech Ginger processing plant with historic cane train through native rainforest and gardens. The ginger shop sells the biggest selection of ginger produce in the world. Unfortunately though, they don’t have a giant ginger bread house.
